A very happy third mycorgi anniversary and huge "Thank You" to Sam Tsang and Silvia Li!

This wonderful website was created in September 2007 by Sam and Silvia after attending a meetup in Orlando, Florida. In November 2008, mycorgi.com became a non-profit charity, and since then there has been money donated to Sunshine Corgi Rescue, CorgiAid and Four Paws Corgi Rescue.

Sam and Silvia completely volunteer their time, and on this third year anniversary of the beginning of mycorgi.com, I thought we ought to give a big "Thank You" to them.

Please consider taking a moment to add a comment to this blog; maybe share about a particularly touching story, important piece of advice or interesting bit of information that you read here. Please share what this site has come to mean to you.

I know that every day I can come to this site and learn something. If I'm feeling sad, I can look at adorable pictures or heartwarming videos. I can share in other member's joy and shed tears at their sorrow. I can offer words of comfort when my fellow members are worried or scared, and though that when I am worried or scared, I will be comforted here.

I know that if I have a "stupid question", I won't be put down or judged. I love how kind the members of mycorgi are. When there is the occasional misunderstanding, miscommunication or hurt feeling, Sam works hard to keep things peaceful and make it right. I appreciate this so much.

If, in addition to making a comment made here, you would like to further celebrate corgi goodness, you might consider a donation to one of the several charities that Sam and Silvia work hard to help.

(2) CorgiAid

(3) FourPaws

Or a different charity of your choice.

Thank you, Sam and Silvia, for three wonderful corgi-filled years!

MyCorgi has become my favorite place to spend time on the web. I can't think of another "common interest" site I've joined that is more friendly, runs more smoothly, or has more gracious hosts than Sam and Silvia.

Thanks so much Sam & Silvia! I just love this site; I even have my husband checking it daily. It has been very helpful for me with my rescue Sally and the time that Sam took to respond to my questions was wonderful! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Thank you, Sam and Silvia (and the moderators who keep things humming along). This is such a wonderful resource, and I love having a place where I can both ask my own "stupid" questions and also help others out when they have questions of their own.

I love telling stories about my dogs, or posting pics or videos, and getting all the lovely feedback. It makes the experience so much nicer, when it's shared.

And thanks to all the community members whose postings make this place so much fun.

I just had to add that since I joined less than a year ago I can't believe how many more members there are...that's alot! I was looking for corgi info and found this site...wasn't I lucky! I also tell all my new puppy owners or any other corgi person about this site and am glad when I see them join! Also I appreciate the positive interactions of this site!

Yes, well deserved accolades for Sam & Silvia! I can remember how excited I was to find this site when I was on my search to get a corgi back in April of 2008. Stanley didn't come into my life until many months later but this site helped prepare me for my little puppy bundle of joy (I'd never had a dog before! Let alone a puppy!). I've learned much more from this site about corgis and just being a pet parent in general. It's no exaggeration that this site has had a huge impact on my life. It's a way to connect with other corgi owners in the area and because of that, I've been able to take over the Orlando meetup group and make it very successful with the help of this site. It's too bad I wasn't a part of that original meetup that spurred the start of mycorgi! And it's a shame I never got to meet Sam in person. I think I should make a shirt that says "W.W.S.T.D" (What would Sam Tsang Do?) Because I value Sam's advice and when Robin and I are discussing various dog matters, a lot of times I say "Well Sam Tsang said...."

So to Sam & Silvia (and Mocha & Vienna) - salute!

Thank you Sam and Sylvia...as a 1st time Corgi AND dog owner, this site quickly became my "go to" source for all my concerns. Not only does it instill confidence in my dog rearing methods, it has allowed me to be part of the wonderful worldwide Corgi community that you have created. So happpy and grateful to both of you for the hard work you do in administering this site.
