At what age do you switch your dog's food to adult food?

I heard puppy food makes them grow faster, is this true? My corgi is 9 months, can I switch him to Adult food? What are the pros/cons of switching?

my breeder advised to switch Charlie to adult food at 6 months. I started giving him now 1/3 cup 2 times a day
My husband is saying that it's not enough since he is growing. What would you say, Debbie?
Charlie does not look exhausted.

I am feeding my 9 month old corgi 2 cups of the Merrick's puppy plate daily. Is that too much? I don't think he's overweight. He gets walked for 1 hour in the morning and 30 minutes at night. He weight 20 lbs right now.

Thanks for asking this, I was wondering the same thing..and also, I will be switching Gibson from a 3 a day feeding down to 2 soon, and was wondering how to go about doing that transition..do you keep the same amount of food?

Debbie, so would you suggest switching my 5 month old to adult food now? Or maybe start slowly transitioning him or switch when this bag runs out?
