Back from Boarding
We came back from a two night trip today and picked up our little girl at the vet (for boarding only). We gave her several toys, blankets and a travel crate to hide/sleep in at night. She seemed happy to see us today, but has vomited twice already and had a loose #2. I figure it's just stress right now. Perhaps cooked rice is the way to go, just in case.

Glad she's doing better. Poor thing. I FINALLY found a dogsitter/vet tech that I love so my dogs either stay with her (shes been full so far though) or she comes here 4 times a day and they stay at home. But I did kennel them off and on for years. Mine are 12 and 9 now and kinda like their routine :) Best to you and your baby.

I will definitely call when they open tomorrow. (They were closed for Labor Day (US).) She's stopped vomitting, ate a bit of food and had a normal #2. So, it seems it was just stress.

I feed mine plain white rice whenever they have repeat vomit or loose stools. Have you boarded her there before? Did they feed a different food? Is she normally anxious when you are away? Since you boarded with the vet I would definitely call them tomorrow just to follow up and let them know whats happening. Good luck and hope she improves quickly.
