Well the lads decided to chew the cord for the sprinkler system yesterday. Leo has never bothered it in the (almost) year he has been here in the backyard. Randy must have discovered it and Leo joined the fun. Thank goodness there is no power to it at all when the system is off. This is my bad as I should have found a way to cover it long ago..or it should have been installed that way in the first place (blame Rob..the installer). I am trying to get my little brother (Mr. Contractor) over here today to repair/replace it so I can water next week....but he seems to think he gets to play at the lake instead (I am just cranky cause I have to work and can't go). Hope everyone has a good 4th. Hope the neighbors keep their fireworks to a minimum (bothers my Corgis and smell awful). They are illegal in the city so hope that slows it down some. I can see the show from my front porch and our city has not canceled them (I guess they are not broke like so many others).
