I do not post much but have used this forum for some much needed advise in the past. More on that later.
I am a happy dad in that my wife and Bella earned their ADCH (Agility Dog Champion) at the USDAA trial in Franklin, TN last weekend!!! I am happy for them and what they have accomplished together, but also the fact that we almost gave up on Bella three and a half years ago due to her aggressive behavior. She was something else! Now, to see them in the agility ring together is something else! Bella still "talks back" when mom messes up in the righ, but really fun to watch! Proud of my girls!
After getting "us" trained on how to handle Bella, we fell in love with the breed and re-homed Stoli through this website. I couldn't get "approved" to post, so ended up PM someone who put me in touch with the owner. Don't remember who it was, but thank you. Stoli makes his agility debut next month!
My point, some corgis can be difficult (Bella was our first dog). Get help if you find yourself overwhelmed. We were, we did, and now have a happy, agility loving, corgi family!

We are up in Clarksville, TN, and I think our next trial is in December in Murfreesboro TN. We are really looking forward to it!
Donna/Lilly- Yea, saw more corgis at this trial than any other. Met the couple that had 4 corgis from Texas. My youtube video was so blurry. You can also see the same done by a "professional" if you youtube "pembroke welsh corgi bella 2013 nationals". It should be the one where he zoom in for closer video. Are you in the SE? Would love to meet you at a trial.
Congratulations!!! We were there last weekend, and we love watching the other Corgis run. Lilly and I have only been doing this a little while, and she also has some aggression issues, but she is getting better at the trials since everyone there is focused on something else. We stayed after and ran a few of the b runs on Saturday night. This was our 3rd Trial.
Again Congratulations!!!!!
Congratulations! Quite an accomplishment. I just watched her Steeplechase run on line. We're seeing more Corgis in agility all the time and most are pretty good. I just worked an AKC trial for the obedience club I belong to and there were several there but for some reason not a good Corgi weekend for them..nor for us as I had to pull Murray due to a pulled muscle we've been dealing with. The courses were nice and flowy, but hard and many difficult traps but looked like fun. Wish we could have played too.
Congratulations!!! You found just what Bella needed to show what a special corgi she is.
Vicky, I am more than happy to share details with anyone. Do you do agility? Or is it the aggression you are asking about? So many people have shared their knowledge with us, through aggression to agility, that has made Bella a special girl! If it is agility, you can youtube "Bella corgi usdaa nationals" and see her run at Nationals last year. I believe it is the second one down and not clear at all on youtube. Happy to try and help! This is the "job" that Bella needed, and she loves it!
Congratulations Bella! Great way to vent all that corgi energy!
That is wonderful! Would love to learn more details about how you accomplished this.
