Brussels

Nemo has a habit of chewing or scratching on the carpet under the dining room table while we eat dinner. Tonight I interrupted him by giving him a "come-sit-down-stay" sequence. While he was in his down by husband googled whether or not dogs can eat Brussels sprouts. After Nemo's good stay he was rewarded with one.

He immediately went frapping crazy. He raced around the house and played with it for a good five minutes before he finally ate it. You would think I had given him the choicest cut of meat ever. Carrots and bell peppers have also had the same effect.

Do your pups go nuts the first time they get a new type of food or treat?

Comment by aronna welsh on August 17, 2013 at 11:44am: You gave him a great gift a ball he could eat. Yes mine all act different with new food but at my house blueberries are the "Bomb" I go in the kitchen and roll a handful out the berries scatter and so do the dogs until all gone.
