How sweet. When Pooh was full grown, I don't care if they are just little dogs compared to some, They can and will do some damage for their people. I felt just as safe with Pooh as I did with my shepherds. He got into a fight with my sisters pit bull/mastiff over me and somehow got more on the pit bull than the pit bull got on him. I think it was because he was smaller and quicker and went right for the throat. Anytime we were sleeping in my room he was always on guard the most and a guy I went to school with was having a rough time with his ex one time and we had just started talking again. He came over and was all down about this girl and just wanted to talk. He ended up wanting to stay over which I thought was weird so I told him, "Couch, it is." lol It was weird because Pooh wouldn't let him out of his sight and kept growling at him. Me and Pooh went to bed and this guy opened my door and Pooh was on the bed, shackles up and teeth bared letting out the most ferocious growl I ever heard. The guy stepped back and asked if he could use my computer to check something. I had a bad feeling but didn't want to be mean. I couldn't sleep after that. I got up at 4 am and went out into the living room to get my lap top and Pooh followed. Stared the guy down the whole time and then Pooh walked over to the front door which was slightly open and was sniffing and then looked at me. I thought that was odd because I knew I locked up and the guy was still "sleeping" on the couch. I figured my lap top was next to the couch where I couldn't see it and didn't want to wake the guy up so I went back to bed. At 7:30am he texted me and said "thanks for letting me crash". I ran out into the living room and sure enough my lap top was GONE! I called and called and called him and he wouldn't call me back. I called the police and he denied having it and blah blah blah. Finally, he said he wanted to do something nice for me and get me a lap top case since I was so nice to him while he was down. Two things were wrong with this. HE knew I had a leather swiss army lap top case and when he did finally return my computer, it was wiped of EVERYTHING! All my pictures that I can't get back, I had been writing a book and my homework assignments were on there, also. Needless to say, he went to court and I never let anyone around that Pooh didn't approve of again. lol
