Good luck at the pet store! I took Sidney to PetSmart last Saturday and he took third. He was the iCorg :)

The holster is actually attached to a belt like piece.  I bought belting from the fabric store and one of the plastic clasp buckles.  I sewed the buckle onto one end of the belting.  Then I cut two slits in the holster, slid it onto the open end of the belting and then sewed the other side of the buckle on.  The other cool thing that the photo does not really show is that the felt I used for it was so cool!  It is embossed felt and actually looks like western leather with a beautiful pattern in it.  Felt has come a long way!

 

To keep the spurs on, I used velcro that just attaches around his back paws and then the metal pieces are held on with pipe cleaners I threaded holes punched in the felt.

 

I am no seamstress, so if this sounds at all elaborate - it is not!  Believe me, if I did it, anyone can!
