Toby's getting a baby shiba inu sister next week and i wanted to know if anyone had any name suggestions for her? I was thinking maybe a Japanese name, and am kind of leaning towards Meiko...

any suggestions would be appreciated! =)

I always liked the name Biwa[beewa], it's a fruit(loquat). I agree Kitsune(fox) would be a good name too. There are soooo many good names that I can't even begin to name them. Some examples: Renkon, Sakura, Ichigo, Mei, Dashi, Chibi, Maguro, Tanuki, Chinchin, Aka, Hana, ...I'll let you translate them if you want. Even Inu is a good name, it means dog.

Mizuki which means "beautiful moon"
Eri which means "blessed prize"
or Aya which means "colorful".

Namine there is a high fin above the e its a characters name in a video game my boyfriend plays its called kingdom hearts if you want to find out how the name sounds.

We where thinking of getting a shiba inu (But we desided to rehome our girls brother instead), and we would of named her Kitsune which means Fox in Japanese, which is fitting because they look fox like (the reds) and they are a japanese breed. I think she would make a great Kitsune as well. Congrats she is very adorable!

awww so adorable, azuki which means sweet red beans... which she kinda reminds me of or kuma which means bear in japanese
