Central Florida Corgis April 25th Playdate Photos

Despite Doglando's last-minute requirement of proof of vaccinations, a chance of rain, and tornado warnings, we had 15 corgis show up!

There was definitely a learning experience this time, with Doglando emailing us around 3:30pm on the day before (a Saturday) to tell us that dogs would now have to have proof of vaccination for rabies, bordatella, and DHLPP to gain entry. Besides not being able to guarantee that we would get in touch with everyone, some members' vet's offices would be closed for the weekend and wouldn't be able to provide the paperwork anyhow. In addition to having multiple cancellations, we actually saw one member in the parking lot get turned away! :(

As the organizers of this group, we're going to encourage members of our group to keep this paperwork handy-- not just in the likelihood of another playdate at a facility like this, but as a good practice in general. We also should have anticipated the possibility of this, as Doglando requires this paperwork for their clients. For future gatherings, we'll make sure to do our best to work out potential issues well ahead of time. We really missed those who couldn't make it this playdate, but we look forward to seeing you soon!

Unfortunately the vet closed at 12:00 on Saturday. She's been giving us the stink eye all weekend. Bad mom and dad :( It looks like everyone had a blast. Hopefully we can make the next one.
