Well for the 1,000th time, I've tripped over Bella. But this time dropping my plate of scrambled eggs, toast, and bacon...i'm starting to think she's doing it because it's funny. Well, she got what she wanted, a plate of human food.
Ever since she was a pup we'd been tripping over her long hotdoggy body. I mean it used to be just a stumble and a laugh, but as she got older/bigger its been a fall and an ouch. It's sorta funny how obnoxious she is on having to wedge herself in between our legs while we're doing something important. It's never caused any serious injuries (yet..), but it's just a simple annoying trait she possesses that leaves one aggravated, and the other with the win.
Let me know...does your corgster have the tripping trait too?

Katie is my tripper. I have a galley type work area in my kitchen which is between the stove, counter/sink and the island. She loves to lay right behind me while I am cooking or doing dishes. I take a step back and there she is. Every sinlge time. You would think after 5 years of being stepped on, tripped over, yelled at she would learn to go under the table with Uncle Max. I mean she is faster than him so she can always beat him to whatever might drop on the floor.
Yes, Tucker totally does! Just the other day, I about tripped over him, as he waited for me at the bottom of the stairs, and I had a handful of laundry. A couple of days ago before that I had to make some fancy moves over Tucker to avoid tripping in the kitchen! I really need to be more consistent about having him leave the kitchen when we are preparing food. He likes to blend himself in with the cabinets while I am cooking, and he pretty much is a statue waiting for something to drop, but I really should not allow him in the kitchen while cooking.
