Bladder Stones. Many Bladder Stones. *sighs* we all didn't see this coming. I am sad to announce Bella may be undergoing a surgery to remove the dozens of ping-pong ball sized stones from her bladder, that caused horrid inflammation in her (lady-part) and on the outside of it. It has caused us both a lot of pain. It is heartbreaking to see her go from a happy dog yesterday where she was playing with little kids at the park, to a mess of a dog. Our hearts and prayers are with her, as she goes through this traumatic point her in her young life. We hope yours are too..god bless ~Madeline.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I'm open

UPDATE: The surgery is very expensive and NOT in the budget. We are afraid we might have to let them pass naturally and painfully (if they even can) or contact a place upstate where we got her spayed. This is such a bad time! We were supposed to go to Lake George w/ family along with Bella, and now, we might have to cancel. Although, going to LG is the least of my worries...

My puppy had stones at least thats what the vet said... I switched to a more holistic vet and it ended up being crystals in her urethra and now I just manage everything. Depending on what you feed makes a huge impact. If you feed dry make sure to add water to her food. I don't feed a dry diet but I still do this one because it makes me feel better and two it helps clean out the urethra. My corgi had struvite stones which are caused by a UTI and I added cranberry to her diet to try and prevent this. I also bought a product tinkle tonic and switched to raw diet. This has helped immensely.

So sorry to hear about Bella.  Is she drinking enough water?  I also wonder if there are some foods that could aid her stones?  Not sure, maybe ask your vet.

I am so very sorry to hear this!  Poor Bella and poor you.  I know you hurt so much for your little girl and I understand about cost of surgery being prohibitive.  Many prayers that the pass easily and quickly and she is back to being her bouncy self.

Please keep us posted.  Sorry about LG....should be just beautiful up there today.
