I would like to know about the weight issues that the corgi breed has because I do not know if my dog is in good health or not. I'd like to get to know your corgi's weight to gauge mine and what the official book says on corgi's health.

Ein weighs 32 lbs last time I checked and he is long for a corgi. I am just curious of everybody else's corgi.

You can't go by absolute weight; some dogs are just big.  There's an ugly rumor about Al's daddy being 35 lbs, maybe more ('cause that's the upper limit of the breed standard), and he was not an overweight dog, just a big corgi.  Best thing to do is to show him to some good breeders or corgi experts.  I asked our breeder to evaluate Al's weight once; she looked at him long & thoughtfully... which led me to believe we were at least close.  Later, the vet suggested we could feed him a bit more (I think Al & the vet were trading kickbacks).
