My Cousin used to come over and visit us through out last summer and he skateboards.. Ace always went berserk and would bark and doesnt like the sound of em or even the look of them.. he wont go near my cousin unless the board is on the ground and he is sitting on it lol

We live in a ski town where lots of folks skate & long board during the summer. I even got a long board last year! I was worried after I got the corgi that he would bite the wheels. But he was a good dog & ran along! I considered myself lucky. It turned into one of our weekend activities: we walk up the trail a ways & he gets to play in the river & such & the way back is "downhill" so he gets a good run in. He loved watching the kids in the skate park too. We have a real problem with the snow shovel however...

If you can get a copy, I think the Dog Whisperer season 1 episode 18 deals with getting a dog to stop freaking out about skateboards.  Here are a couple of articles that might have some suggestions too...

Some are about fearful dogs, and I am guessing that is not the problem lol, but they do have some good tips about desensitizing your dog to certain noises/objects.  Good luck!
