Jen, Yuki & Ellie- I like the name Bailey too but in find that a lot of people like that name for a dog! haha
Snickmom-I like Trixie too! My friend's aunt used to have a Sheltie named Pixie and she was the nicest dog ever!
Cindi & Twinkie-Whenever I think of Flounder I think of the Little Mermaid lol but I like the name Otter for a girl!
Twixter & Kimberly- I know a lot of dogs named Gizmo, its quite popular haha
I like names that end in an I sound: Pixie, Trixie, Pinky, You could go on forever, if you like Scotty, Snotty, Spotty...
I have to say that I'm partial to the name Ellie. ;) Other ones that I like: Bailey (would have been Ellie's name, but there are so many corgis named Bailey!), Chloe, Jackson, Gus, Barry, and Momo.
I have always liked the pledge names from Animal House. We have had a dog named Hoover and would have had an Otter if the next dog hadn't been a girl. Pinto? Flounder anyone? Great names!
Well, the name I was most comfortable with in a dog was when my mom brought home a Pug off of Craigslist. His technical name was "Gizmo" which I liked well enough.. But his name (the one I gave him, which should have just been his name, because I was his person,) was Piggy.
It really was just a spot on name for him, it was his exact personality and everything. And it wasn't like one day I decided I was going to name him Piggy.. It just sort of happened, I just kept calling him Piggy and soon after that, it's what he responded to. (Though my brother and mom insisted he be called Gizmo, he never spent time with them, he was always holed up in my room with me.) That was my all time favorite, but it's because it was just perfect for him.
Some names I do like for dogs that have stuck out to me that I've come across: Boscoe, Jack(for a girl), Sarah Beth, Mackenna, Wesley..
