And he's having a pretty bad day too :(
Yesterday I discovered that the right side of his mouth was very swollen, of course I freaked out and called the vet right away. He said it's because Ein is teething and has been chewing on things more than usual which caused the swelling. He pretty much just told me to wait it out. And that is KILLING me. It's clear that Ein is uncomfortable, you can't touch his mouth at all without him getting upset, he keeps shaking his head and liking his mouth while giving me the sad little "what's wrong with me" eyes. He just looks so pitiful. Luckily though, upon waking up this morning the swelling was almost completely gone and he seems a lot more active and happy today.
However if the swelling isn't completely gone by the time I wake up in the morning we'll be making a trip to the vet.

Poor little Ein. I hope he feels better soon.

I know Kiwi didn't have too many problems with teething, except for the occasional bleeding. Petco and I'm pretty sure Petsmart have a "chilly bone," it's a cloth bone that tastes like vanilla, you can put it in the freezer for them to chew on later. It supposedly feels good on their teeth and gums, you can also try frozen carrots. Might help with some of the pain/chewing issues/swelling. Good luck with the pup! Hope his mouth feels better soon!

Nutmeg is having a hard time with her teeth too. I don't know how long this lasts...all of my other dogs have been tiny yorkies, and I never noticed the teething like this in a medium sized dog.
