The fall fund raiser picnic for Arizona Cactus Corgi Rescue was this past Sunday. There was a great turn out of humans and Corgis, by some counts perhaps as many as 90 Corgis came and went during the day. The weather was ideal and smiles abounded.
Sparkle's brother and sister, Finn and Lacey, came down for the event from Clarkdale, AZ with their owner and breeder, Maria Brady. Finn and Lacey are doing the show dog thing and it looks like they have a stellar career ahead of them but they are still Corgis and fun and playing and sniffing are the most important things. My pal Gromit is their uncle so it was nice little family reunion.

There rest of the pictures from the day are here.

Kathy, Gromit's tongue actually rolls onto a spool down in his tummy. He's the only corgi that can get things off the countertop while sitting on the floor.
Gromit's tongue always kills me. Does it fit in his mouth? Does he catch flies? How far does his bowl need to be away from him before he can't reach it? :)
Love the gang.
John, I think the appropriate costume for a Corgi would be a garbage disposal!
Beautiful dogs.
I checked out the other pictures from the link as well. Looks like everybody had a great time.
Thanks for sharing.

That's a scary lineup, Doug. I've wanted to do The Four Corgis of the Apocalypse for Halloween, but nobody wants to be Famine. War, Death & Pestilence are all in good fun, but Famine is hard for a corgi to wrap its mind around. Especially on Halloween.
