I'm sucha weirdo... but I'm super happy that MOMO is finally getting the hang of FETCHING!
He'll run after sticks when i throw them and then come running back with them and either DROP on the ground at my feet or hold onto it until i tell him to leave it/drop it.
Still not a perfect game of FETCH, but for a pup who has not ever played or done fetch, i'm quite happy. I think will keep working with him on FETCH. <3
Soooo proud of my lil man-pup! <3

Ohh... my momo is a lil sucker for treats too! He'll do ANYTHING for treats over a toy anyday ... but i'm trying to make him WANT/LIKE toys over treats... i dun want him to get over weight and unhealthy when he gets older (he's still very much a puppy... just a lil over 8 months).
BUT.... i've learned that if you pretend you're extra INTERESTED in a "toy", be it ball, stick, duck,ect... they'll want it too and become curious with whatever you are playing with cuz corgis are NOSY or at least mine is until I 'claim it' and then goes away and plays with something else. ONCE he is interested/curious in a toy, make it fun... hyper active...exciting for him and make him think it's like the GREATEST DARN THING in the world!
But for now, i'm only throw the stick a lil distance from us (when he's in a seated position), like 5-6 feet ... so it's not tooo far from me, but he sees movement and will want to chase it.
When he DOES go after the stick and got a hold of it, i run 'backwards' and his instinct to want to follow me kicks in and he runs back with the stick towards me. As i've said, i'm only doing SHORT DISTANCE fetch, so he doesn't get paranoid that i'm going to leave him and drops the stick. As soon as he realizes this is a game... I'm sure he'll LOVE to play fetch. I leave the same stick outside of our house door so he sees it every day.... and AFTER our walks, AND depending on the weather outside, if its good dry weather, he gets to play "fetch"... 10-15 mins... so he still wants to play, but he'll have to earn it, but having a good walk the next time we go out for walks. :D
Dunno if it'll work with your Luffy, but it working so far with my Momo. He's slowly learning fetch. He still has issues of Letting go on his own from time to time. He'll only drop it, if i tell him to... or he'll just drops it at my feet while in motion running (i'm guessing -- cuz he doens't want to continue carrying it around... LOL).
Goooood luck!
can he train Luffy please.. Luffy, will only do it for treats.
