When we took Sky to puppy class, he was cautious about some of the treats the trainer used. I think he spat out, played with, and rolled in a LIVER flavored one, of all things.

I had to take my young cat in for a final check and stitches removal this morning.  I asked him why dogs love cat poop.  He said it's because there is a high protein content in cat food and what isn't absorb comes out in the poop and dogs think it's the greatest treat since Milk Bone.

ewww.... cat poop as a FAVE DOG TREAT?!?!?!?  I've never heard of Dogs eating cat poop (i'v heard of dogs eating their OWN poop tho-- which is still ewww)!  But then again, i don't know many dog owners who OWNED cats too....

Hmmmm.... interesting... will keep in mind if i ever get a cat.  LOL.  Gonna put the cat litter box in a caged crate or something... that MOMO can't get into.

Yeah...what is it with dogs and cat poop???   We have 3 cats and the litter boxes are in the basement so the dogs can't get it but we have so many loose cats (strays and those people just let out) that come into our yard.  I'm sure the dogs have a field day when I'm not watching.

I have yet to find anything Becca won't eat. Though she isn't often offered people food, just raw fruit and veggies. The exception is when we are at my Mother's. She says grandmothers are allowed to spoil their grandkids.

Last week I dropped a piece of raw spinach on the floor. She tried it and spit it out, but when the cat came over for a sniff Becca ate it. I have to say cat poop is her all time favorite treat as much as it grosses me out.

LOL Beth....not sure if mine would spit out a carrot or not tho they both love cheese.  They will eat any veggie I give them and they've eaten strawberries, bananas..love bananas and of course things like onions and grapes are a no no for dogs.  Max loves sticks...he likes to help me clean up the garden, he gathers the sticks and makes little twigs out of them for me.  I guess he figures it's easier for his old mom to pick up that way.  Both like fish...tuna, catfish...that's a fave..tilapia, swordfish.

Linda, mine will eat citrus too; no one ever told them they shouldn't! Fish is one of their favorites though. Carrots, lettuce, tree bark....

Once we had some company and I gave Jack a carrot from the veggie platter. He does like carrots, but then someone dropped a piece of cheese. He spit out the carrot, ate the cheese, sniffed for more cheese, then ate the carrot! He's a very discerning food hog.

hMM... HAVEN'T tried carrots yet.  I think... i'll try that next and see if he'll like that veggie.  I'm trying to get him to like more veggies. <3

LOL... I have heard, that corgis LOVE LOVE LOVE to eat anything at anytime.  Hence to my surprise, that Momo wouldn't eat some of the "treats" that puppies are supposed to like.  LOL...

Yes... my dear momo.... May explain why he's a bit on the Lower side of the weight scale.  LOL...
I joke with my husband that, "Momo must be a pretty boy pup... cuz he's watching his SLIMMER 'figure'." LOL.... <3

A rare corgi indeed!  I thought they all lived just to eat.  Mine will eat anything which can be rough at times when they try to get things that are not good for them.  Their favorite treats are carrots and will stand by the fridge because they know their bag of carrots is in there.  I do think they prefer them over all other treats tho.
