You can register your new puppy at PetSmart.com and get coupons for their birthdays and new puppy coupons. And usually you get a survey on the receipt for $2-5 off your next purchase. And if you have a collar or leash or toy you like, don't forget to use our friend Google for printable coupons! I got my babies new Kong collars the day they went on sale [the ad gets e-mailed to me weekly].. $5 each instead of $11.99! And don't forget to puppy-proof your home [they WILL chew on cords and small items that you normally wouldn't think twice about]. Also, do you have doorway gates or a movable pen for your pup? Cheaper to get these at second-hand stores, thrift shops, in the baby section of the store, or possibly at your local country feed store [big variety in the movable pens!]. These were great purchases for me [as were cat bells for their collars so you can hear them at all times, a light up collar tag-clip for night time potties on our property, and a laser pointer]. Oh, and a pooper-scooper rake. Makes yard-cleanup like an easter egg hunt. :-)

It is sooo fun! There are so many choices out there... it's gonna be hard not to go overboard!

I'm glad to hear I chose good shampoo & clippers! I try to go off of Amazon reviews and whatever I've read on the forum.

Oh I love that dog shampoo and conditioner!  I use that on Yuki and Ellie and it makes them smell absolutely fabulous for an entire week.  Good stuff!

Preparing is so fun!! My boyfriend and I had to have gone to Petco 10 times before we picked up Zorro lol
