So, Hannah had her first check-up at the vet today. She is 5 and 1/2 months old and weighed in at 13 pounds. She had her last distemper shot as well as her rabies, so she's all caught up for the next year. The vet said she looks very good and everything checked out fine. Got her started on HeartGuard today as well. They said she will be all set for her spay in a month. All the vet techs and secretaries loved her. She wanted to play with everyone and was even licking all over the doc after her shots. I was pleasantly surprised that they were all familiar with the breed, too. They took her picture and she had a few treats before we left. Overall, it was a good experience for the both of us!
