Well, I thought about it ever since I was a pre-teen and I finally decided that if it was possible, I would volunteer for the Humane Society's Foster Program. I've volunteered by walking dogs, cleaning kennels and bowls, feeding the animals, picking up poop, and all types of stuff while I was younger, but I'd really like to do more. Of course, to live on my own, I can't volunteer during the day (I have to make mula!!) but I love animals and I would like to at least save one dog or cat at a time and keep them in my home until they can find their forever home! Today I'll be sitting down with my landlord and discussing the terms and restrictions of fostering a dog or cat. I already paid the pet deposits and after talking to the landlord, I can reply back to the Humane Society. Everything's pretty much set up already. The Humane Society is waiting for the "OK" from the landlord and then they'll set me up with a dog or cat in need! ^_^ I'm reeeeaaally excited! My mom thinks I'm crazy, but I think it's gonna be great. I've trained dogs that I've owned in the past to doing tricks to even fixing issues like aggression and anxiety. I think I can help... For now, that's all the news I have. I'll update in the near future!
