French fry hangover...

So yesterday was my human daughter's birthday. She had a dog-loving friend spend the night,and the fur kis spent the whole evening participating in the party in her room. I don't know what all treat they got last night, but this morning/afternoon, they apparently reached their limit. I gave the human girls chicken and French fries for lunch. They ate in the den....accompanied by the corgi girls. Many bites must have been shared because not too much later the fur kids were losing ALL of the food ALL over the kitchen tile.
Now they (the corgis) are passed out on the couch with Daddy.
It was all apparently much too much of a party for them, and I will have to talk to the human kids about providing "French fries to canine minors."

Comment by abcd on February 26, 2012 at 8:38pm: Haha! That is what happened to Cleo...she had Thanksgiving hangover, and aspiration pneumonia to go with it....how nice. The guests should've given me $$ every time they slipped the dog a treat to cover the medical bill after lol

Comment by Sandy Stickney on February 26, 2012 at 7:44pm: I always threaten guests that if they feed any of the dogs human food, the dog(s) will be packed up and sent home with the offending guest so they can deal with the consequenses. It usually keeps people from breaking the rule. ;)
