We took Gimli to Petco last Sat. for his first training day. They have a six weeks basic training course for puppies. He was the star pupil (go figure..lol) Sat. was to train to sit, the instructor chose Gimli to demonstrate on, little did she know he had mastered that on the third day we had him. She looked down at him and started her hand command and he sat pretty as a picture. Everyone laughed and she told Gimli "thanks for showing me up" it was so funny. It takes him about two tries on commands and he gets it down. My daughter is home schooled so she works with himall the time. He had a blast playing with the other dogs that day. At one point there were three of them that became big buddies, to watch them you would have thought it was a Disney movie in the making. There was Gimli, Marley the Boxer and Chico the Chiawawa (can't spell that one but you know..lol) it was a site to see. Chico was right in the middle of it all the whole time, I can see that they are going to be best buds..lol We go again this week to do sit and stay, which Gimli already has down..lol
