A couple of weekends ago Ashton and John competed in the EMLKC agility trial which was their first agility trial in over a year. Had to take last year off when John started a new job and they had him working 12 hr shifts at nights on weekends. That kind of cut into corgi competition time. They qualified twice in Open Jumpers and once in Open Standard which earned them a new title! They moved up to the Excellent class in Standard which unfortunately they didn't qualify (Ashton dropped a bar) but otherwise had a great run! I know some of this post probably sounds like a foreign language to some of you so here is a video of his second qualifying run in Open Jumpers to watch. 3 First place ribbons, 1 new title, 1 very happy Corgi = a great weekend! Go Team Ashton!

Very impressive!   Fast dog.  Nicely done.

That is SO fun and SUCH an accomplishment! And your video is a delight.

Cassie did some agility training for awhile. The field where we were going acquired a bit of a tick infestation, so, me being not the least patient human on the planet, we abdicated. But it is so neat to watch the really accomplished pooches do this! It's the next best thing to watching New Zealanders show you how their dogs work at a sheep station.

Thanks! I love the little clouds of dust Ashton kicks up during the run. He was so happy barking through the weave poles and over the jumps. He loves it!

What fun!  Congratulations on a happy working dog, I'm still smiling from watching your video.
