Sunday was Paisley's birthday! I can not believe she is a whole year old. It feels like just yesterday she was a tiny little bear bounding around our apartment. She is a very special little girl. We found her the week I graduated from college, and moved in with my husband in our little apartment. We got her the week my husband started his first real job. She lost all her baby canines the weekend my husband and I got married. She started her adult food the week we bought our house. She took her first real swim the week I started my first real job. And now she turns a year old the first week we are officially all moved into our house. She makes this new house a home since home is where the corgi is. I can not imagine life without her.
To celebrate her birthday she got to have some egg with her breakfast and a lunch time snack of her favorites (tuna, cheese, carrots and spinach). We then went to the near by state park where she got to go for a hike in the woods and a swim in the lake. After that, a smelly and damp Paisley got to pick out her own present at Petco (she chose a squeaky puppy, some new nylabones and a longer leash to make swimming at the park easier). She ended the day asleep on the couch with her new toys.
Happy Birthday my puppy. I can not wait to spend the next 17 or so eventful years with you!
