So, my poor baby has picked up Giardia. Because he was so little and couldn't get vaccinated while being sick, the vet told me to break on potty training for now. She thinks he picked it up from stepping in other dogs stool in our backyard. We live on the Army post, so getting a fence is a long process. However, we started it now. This is his second round of antibiotics. Hopefully, this will do the trick! So to my question. I'm cleaning up his accidents right away, but I'm having an issue getting his poop stains completely up. Any recommendations? I've tried Citrus Magic natural pet, spot shot, and will light stain and odor remover.

Nature's Miracle is enzyme based and can help where you already have a problem, but keeping him off the carpets is a must!

I've had good luck with Resolve for pet stains.

Could you get some garden fencing or something to at least segment off a small area of your yard for now? I wouldn't let him just keep pottying inside or housetraining will be a nightmare...

I would buy a cheap piece of linoleum and lay it over the carpet where you need to keep the puppy, or confine him to the kitchen if not carpeted.  If he keeps going on the carpet ( and he may not be able to control his bowel movements ) it will be very difficult to break that habit, as pups develop a preference for type of surface where they eliminate.  Cleaning  the carpet  also very difficult, especially if you have padding under it.....  Throw out the linoleum when he's back to normal.
