HOME NEEDED FOR MAGGIE MAY - by Mid-November (Birmingham, MI)
We are looking for a loving home for Maggie May, because we are moving Mid-November and cannot take her with us.
Maggie May is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, 7 yrs old, in good health with all vaccines/shots current. She has a calm and quite demeanor. She almost never barks - only when the door bell rings. She loves to snuggle, and have her belly and ears rubbed. She’s at a healthy weight, and loves to take walks, and run. She can be left in the home while gone, for upto 6-8hrs between potty walks. She can be left on her pillow, no need to cage her. She does not beg or eat people food, or chew on anything.
We rescued her from a shelter in 2010. She had been in a "puppy mill" for breeding, and was treated badly. As a result, she is very skiddish/fearful around adult males, particularly ones with low/commanding voices. She's great with women and children of all ages, even the ones who “over-love her” LOL.
If interested in adding Maggie May to your family, complete with bowls, leash, harness, brushes, pillow and food container - we would love to talk to you. (see photos on my site )
Please feel free to share this info with anyone you know that may be looking for a wonderful pet.

If you don't find anyone contact a rescue near you. Corgis rarely least long in rescue especially one as nice as she sounds. Check Petfinder.com if you need some names. Good luck, sorry you can't keep her.
I know someone looking in MI, and passed the word along :) Fingers crossed for your Maggie May to wind up in the best possible home for her.
