Hot Dog (or in this case Corgi) she is all ours!!
We made our decision this morning and pick out our Samantha. Don't mind saying it was a hard decision as all the pups were beautiful, Wendt Worth Corgis are just fantastic. She was born on 2/17/09 in a litter of 4. For the last three weeks it was pure joy trying to figure out which one was for us. Before they were born we have been buying stuff. So far we have food & water bowl, collapsable water bowl, ball, red stuffed lobster complete with rope legs and squeaky, Pedi Paws, shower head that attaches to ours with a six foot hose, toothbrush & paste, a very large comfy pillow type bed for the den and a cam corder. We also found a receiving blanket in the baby department at Target, we have slept with it, wrapped up in it to get our scent on it. That has been sent to Wendy and she said she will put it intoduce Samantha to it, then put it in with mom & litter so their scent will be on it for when Samantha is shipped to us she'll have familar smells for the trip. We miss our Tedi and know that there is no way to replace him but at the same time we realized that there was a big hole in our lives that only a corgi could fill. I will try to attach a picture but I am not great at this computer stuff. Will put some more on My Page also. We were just so happy had to share before I burst wide open. Only about 40 days and counting! Okay couldn't figure out how to insert a picture here but did get them on my page.

Congrats! Reading this actually brought a smile to my face, and few tears of joy. I'm hoping once I return from my business trip I can start looking for a new bundle of fur to fill the hole in my heart. Can't wait to see more photos of Sami. I also just realized, that she was born the day we lost Tiki. I'll never forget your furry babies birthday. :)

I know I left a comment on your page, but I have to say congrats again. There's just nothing better than a baby Corgi. Except maybe more baby Corgis. And adult Corgis. And Corgi memories. And Corgi mixes. And... I think I'd better stop now.

That is great news! I bet you are so excited! If I get sent to Albuquerque for a workshop, I'll hollar at you so I can get my corgi fix! LOL! Seriously, congratuations and I can't wait to hear more about Samantha.

Wendt Worth Corgis needs to thank Marion and Vern..not Marion and Vern thanking WWC!!! I was ecstatic to have her contact me after reading everything I did about Tedi. They are exceptional owners any breeder would be more then happy to accommodate. They do everything they can for their dogs and are true animal lovers. I have very much enjoyed the hours we have spent on the phone talking about anything and everything. We will continue to stay intouch. Thank you for giving my little low rider a home to call her own.

Congratulations, y'all! I know this is such an exciting time. And it's not about forgetting or replacing Tedi. It's about opening your heart to a new little corgi. You are going to enjoy your time together. Can't wait to see pics as little Samantha grows up!

Oh we are very excited, nervous, joyfull, worried she will have to be taking a 5 to 5 and a half hour plane ride to get to us. I've been told about Nutra drops for her sugar level by the time she gets here will be low. It would take us 23 hours one way to drive to get her. We will both be taking a week of vacation so that we will be able to spend all that time with her. She will have her "get to know her vet" visit probably that Monday or Tuesday. Giving her a couple of days to settle down and in with her new parents.
