Yesterday wasn't good and today is shaping up the same way. The only thing we have going for us is we still like to eat, be with us and chew on bones. Tiki is hardly walking and cries when you try to help him up. He tries to go potty but has trouble standing. He started leaking urine last night an I've been cleaning everything so we can get through the rest of today. I have a feeling, tomorrow will be his last. I know this sound short and to the point, but I can't keep the tears back enough to write more.

I feel so bad for you and my heart aches for you. I dread the day something happens to one of mine. You have many people around you who care and you can reach out too. Your in my thoughts and prayers.

Max will be there at Rainbow Bridge where Tiki will play with no more pain.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Brenda & Tiki how i wish there were words to say to take away the pain but alas there are none. Know that you are in our thoughts and hearts. Tedi will be there to greet Tiki and remember you have all of us here anytime you need. My prayer is for you both to find comfort, it is so hard I know. Bless you both.

I am so sorry to hear that. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I completely agree, cancer sucks, in so many ways! Kiwi sends all of her love, along with Vic and I.
