Jasper's last night with the jewels...

Well tomorrow's the big day-Jasper's getting his neuter surgery. I feel bad...he's so unsuspecting. They're keeping him overnight since his surgery is a little more complicated than usual. I'm so worried about him although I'm sure everything will go fine. Any tips or advice for once we get him home on Wednesday?

Comment by Gromit, Sparkle, and Doug on July 27, 2010 at 3:18am: In the long run the surgery is best for Jasper but as a guy I do sympathize. :-( The vet will give you all the regular advice. Your difficult job will be to make Jasper obey it. My experience has been that the dogs bounce back really fast, sometimes in a matter of hours, and keeping them from over exerting themselves for a couple of weeks until they heal up a bit is the biggest challenge.
