soo I went over to my friends house to let their Bloodhound outand put him on his run and to take their 3 little dogs out potty well i got inside with the 3 little dogs and tomy Horror something was broken.. I had been using this HUGE baby gate to keep Bear *the Bloodhound* out of the Bathroom where they keep the kitten Billy's food and Bear had been eating Billys food so i used the gate to keep him out... well today to my horror the Gat was broken *catfood was untouched* and i paniced... What does one do if something is broken and its not theirs.. SO i replied to the email my friend sent me and told her What had happened I appologized and offered to pay.. i didnt know what else to do.. I meanthis is my first time petsitting at someone elses home..

Usually when i pet sit i bring the pet to my house but when you have more then one dog its kind of hard ya know.. I cant bring 4 dogs to my house there wouldnt be any room for anyone if i did that..So i have been panicing i dont want them thinking poorly of me because of an Accidnet.. part of me thinks she wont be mad she is a real sweet gal but accidents can cause anyone to be upset...

Other then that i have had an ok day... I think im gonna take Ace to my friend Charity;s house and let him play with her overweight pocket beagel =)

I agree with Susan, you did the right thing. I hope they would not hold an accident against you, what kind of gate is it?

Accidents happen, unfortunately. Since you were upfront about it and told your friends right away (and want to do right by them), I would hope they'll be fine. I certainly would be!
