1)Trip home to Chicago for grandma's arrangements

2) Meeting Nugget for the first time!

Today was a lot easier for me emotionally. New life is such a beautiful thing. I know my Gram is smiling down on me and I have to admit, it is nice having an angel. We are leaving on Monday out of Phoenix for a 10 day endeavor home to good ole' Chicago, but my husband wants me to see my pup before we leave. He knows its the one thing keeping me sane right now, and I know I'm going to melt when I see those little paws.

SO....we are making the 3 hour drive to Wittman on Sunday...even though we have to make the same drive to Phoenix the next day. Yeah...I know how to pick em :)

I cant wait to meet my little Nugget and I'm going to take so many pictures! I just got a Nikon DSLR camera and boyyy I better make sure my battery is charged. I also want to see if maybe I can get his little paw print on an ornament. Any ideas that wont harm the little fella in any way? My mom said maybe baby powder on black paper sealed with hairspray. Hm.. Not sure. She's excited to have a grand puppy.

It seems like just the thought of the new pup is just spreading joy to my entire family, even though they are out of state.
