This is Milo. He is 2 years old (approximate.) Behind him is the devastation that was caused by the Weimaraner and the Freya baby. It makes naught a difference if I clean cause but a minute later they trash the house.

So here is what I have learned so far. He is infected with heart worms. They haven't treated him at all because he needs a sponsor for the treatment. I know one person has called but she has been so busy that she hasn't had the chance to return it. These are her words, not mine. He is also infected with every other worm known to man (eeww) and they dewormed him and neutered him yesterday. Due to this, I am afraid the others will get infected (scary.)

I got him early today and went to the one place that I knew to go to socialize him. The movie theatre (it's my side job.) The manager is a great dog person and it was the first time Milo's on his back. After that a couple of the other people came over and petted Milo. He is an excellent people dog.

He started whining when he saw some chihuahuas--which kind of resembled the breeds he was with in the pack. I have learned that Cloud, our Weim, does not like him! We tried to pack walk with the boys and Cloud tried to lung and attack a couple of times. On the plus side, Milo wasn't aggressive other than he was willing to defend himself. Milo is excellent on the slip lead they gave me.

He listens pretty well. He rides in the car pretty well. He is pretty chill. He likes to do the "corgi wave" for treats.

I hope to get him treated and onto a good home as soon as possible. I'm not sure if Cloud is going to like the new man in the house.

At any rate, what do you think he's mixed with? Oh, if you would like to help sponsor his heart worm treatment (much needed!) just send me a message or leave me an email and I'll send you the information to the animal control officer.

Update: Neglected to mention how gentle he is with his mouth. He isn't food aggressive unless there's a dog nearby (which is the same issue I have with my baby.)

Someone needs a clean up crew. I've got my dust cloth and vacuum ready to go. hehe. Seriously though, your other dogs will get worms if you aren't very careful with the infected dogs stools and you HAVE to keep it clean to avoid contamination. Even when you get the dewormer if the eggs are in the carpet or stools still in the grass the dog can get reinfected again and again. It's a tricky thing. Good luck though!

I don't remember if I posted any full body pics of BG on this site or not. I'll go and do that so you can get more of an idea of his total body shape, ok?

He could be a Chihuahua/Doxie/Corgi mix. His legs and feet, from what I can see, look to be thinner than a corgi's, and they have that sort of "Doxie" curve to them. They aren't as heavy as some of the other breeds that have that curve. BG is around 35 lbs. which he gets from his Corgi side. He could stand to lose a few pounds... probably should be around 32 lbs. We call him "Chunky Butt" sometimes. His sister, Dott, took the smaller size and is only 13 lbs. OC is full Pem, and she is about 32 lbs (a little overweight).
