We had to say goodbye to our beloved corgi, Kujo, on Saturday afternoon :(

He started feeling poorly on Friday night, I got him in to the vet first thing on Saturday morning. At first they thought he had kidney stones but after further tests they found a very large cancerous tumor in his bladder.  Bladder cancer is very deadly in dogs and there was absolutely nothing that could be done for him.  We are missing him like crazy and our house just isn't the same without him.  We have a 3 year old shitzu also and he is just lost without his best friend.

I am new to "my corgi" and being on here is a little bittersweet.  I love looking at all of the wonder photos (cuz we all know how special corgis are) but it also makes me miss him terribly.

I am not sure how long our house can last....corgi-less.  Hopefully when the time is right, this site will lead us to another corgi to add to our family.

RIP Kujo :)ful

I am sorry for your loss. I was devastated when Max went to Rainbow Bridge. I was so sure I would never get another corgi as I couldn't handle losing another best friend. I have two now, LO and my new BHT Bootsie, I love them so much and the time will come for you when it is right.

I am so sorry....there reallly is nothing to say to make you feel better, except that many (if not most) of us on here know your pain.  It will get easier--just know you did the best for Kujo, and that is the ultimate act of love.  Soon you will laugh over the good memories...but will probably always cry...and that's OK.  Kujo is waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge, happy and healthy until you can be together again!

I'm sorry to hear that you've lost your Corgi pal Kujo.  Many of us here have experienced the same thing and found that MyCorgi is a wonderful source for fun, laughter, Corgi knowledge, and also encouragement in the sad times.  You're amongst friends here.

Much love to you and your family during this time.  We lost Algy last year to cancer, and thanks to this site, the loss was made a little more bearable, and we found two new corgis in our lives.  Losing a part of the family is never easy.  Always remember the good times, and he will never be far from your heart.

We've been thinking about you all day!  We remember the day you brought Kujo home!  We can't control how long that they live, but you sure gave him a great life while he was with you!

Rest In Peace little man!

I am so sorry for the loss of Kujo.  Corgis have such big hearts and personalities and I hope you will be able to welcome a new corgi into your loving home soon.
