Murphy just keeps getting bigger and bigger. He weighs more than Stella now and his face has changed since he became a part of our family way back in February. Wow, it's just so hard to believe that's how long ago we got him. It kind of makes me sad, but I'm glad he's growing and that he's healthy. We had to buy him pup steps so he can get on and off of the bed and he sleeps on our bed now with us the entire night. He's so cute though, he must love the weekends as much as we do because we'll both get up and take him outside in the mornings when we both have to get up and go somewhere like work or school and as soon as we bring him back inside he'll start going back up the stairs and we'll find him back up on the bed laying down.

He goes to the vet next Friday to get neutered. Chris is taking the entire day off to be with him and I'll be there too since I'm taking an online class this summer. I don't know if we'll be allowed to stay with him while he gets his operation, but we would like to be there for him. It's one the most important trips to the vet during his lifetime. We just wanna be there for him whether he knows it or not, but we also worry about him like parents do especially since him and Stella are the only babies we have at this point.

I've gotta give him a bath in a few days, he hasn't had one in awhile and I'd like to give him a bath before putting anymore of his flea and tick meds on him. He loves to roll around in the grass, but what dog doesn't? I love watching him, he smiles and snorts. He's been sorting a lot lately too. It's too cute.

We finally bought him a furminator and its been great. He loves it, when I get it out he just rolls over onto his back like I'm gonna rub his belly (which he loves). We also changed his food from Iams to Nutro. I know that pretty much every brand of pet food has good things and bad things about them, but I think Nutro is healthier than Iams. He seems to like it more than Iams. It used to take him a long time to eat, he'd walk away from it and play with his toys, now he seems to eat more than he did. Maybe it could just be that he's eating more because he's getting bigger, but I don't really know for sure, I just know that I see a difference in his eating habits.
