Honestly, Skyler wishes he belonged to a single man. You know how dogs have instinct? Instinct to not want to potty where they sleep or getting to know other dogs by sniffing them. Well Sky's instinct is to flirt with all the hot ladies. Did you know Corgis could flirt??? I didnit until I brought Sky to the dog park.
Now I always noticed that Sky had a propensity to go towards attractive people--men or women. But ooo lala if you could get a pretty lady to shower him with some attention he would LOVE it. So when I went to the Dallas Dog Park at White Rock Lake with my fiance and his family, Sky really put the moves on the two prettiest ladies in the park. There were a bunch of little dogs running around the park and the second I took the leash off of Sky I expected him to run over to the other dogs to sniff around and try to convince them to chase him. Instead, I catch my little puppy taking off towards to college girls in short shorts and tank tops and immediately sit inbetween them, trying to woo them into scratching his head and stroking his back.
As he sat there feeding off of their loving attention various people in the park took that as an opportunity to approach to the two women to ask if Sky is their's. Of course, I'm standing off under a tree with my fiance watching this happen. If I was a guy, I would've immediately thought, "JACKPOT" and used it as an excuse to entice them into a conversation with me. But I'm a girl... So it doesn't work that way. Obviously Sky's dream is to be a wingman, and if I could, I would sell his services to young men hoping to find a pretty lady to stroke their back as well. :)
Eventually Sky left the two hot college women and came over to sit with his hot owner ^_~ and eventually did play with other dogs.
This past weekend, Sky did have the chance to hang out with me and my two girlfriends who I would argue are pretty darn hot. He had a great weekend with us in Austin, TX. The great thing about Sky is he's pretty good on road trips so taking him with me is always pretty easy. I just wish I could make him understand that cats don't usually want to play with little puppies... But he certainly thinks that if he stares at one long enough and makes himself real cute that will entice them to play with him.
