Needed Home for Corgi---maybe not

We have a 4 yr old female tri pem. needing a home ASAP. She is a good dog....but agressive towards other dogs. She was a rescue for us, and we thought we could work with her, but we have a new baby in the house and don't have time. She would be a great ONLY dog, but doesn't play well with others. She has gotten into many fights with our other Corgi. Her name is Carli, she is crate trained and house broken. She will come with a crate and collar. Please help us find her a happy, loving home with a willing and caring owner. Thanks!

She has no self-control and needs work with her call back and her "leave it" commands. She is aggressive when it comes to playing outside with our other Corgi. Inside the house she is great. Normally we would have time to work with her, but with the baby it is tricky as my husband is gone 4 days per week. Hopfully we will get Carli some help!

Comment by Epinephrine "Epi" and Carly too! on April 12, 2010 at 1:11pm: After talking with my husband, we may be keeping little Carli. We are looking at working with a behaviorist for Carli. We don't really want to give up on her as that has already happened one too many times in her life. Does anybody have any suggestions? We live near Lake Don Pedro, but can travel to Modesto or even the Bay Area if we find the right help. Thnaks!

My suggestion is to contact the rescue in your area, they will be able to foster Carli and evaluate her until she is suitable for adoption to the right family. Of course if someone who's willing to work with Carli here, that will be great also. I'll help you to get the word out.
