My boyfriend and I have been getting the house ready to bring Molly home, and that alone has stressed our other dog out. First, we brought a new type of food into the house, and haven't given her any, Savannah is food driven she's 13ish so it's difficult enough to get her to do anything. Then, we brought home puppy toys and treats. She doesn't play with toys, so having toys was strange to her. Recently we brought home Molly's crate and put it in our room, close to the door. Savannah was a rescue, but it was believed that she was kept in a crate almost constantly as she grew bigger. It took quite a while of leading her dinner down the hall and into our room for her to finally get comfortable. It was quite hilarious to watch her sniff at the cage when she finally went into our room.

I'm not too nervous about introducing them, Savannah does alright with other dogs, she just gets grumpy easily but never bites the most annoying of dogs.

All in all, we're excited to bring Molly home :)

Congrats on adding a new addition!  I would suggest that when you do introduce the new pup to your other dog, that you do so in neutral territory away from the house, and even go for a walk with them together.  Tire them out before you even get home.  When you get home, have both dogs on leash and have the explore the front of the house, back, and then the inside of the house together.  Even though your other dog doesn't play with toys, I would definately supervise play time with toys, also without toys.
