I am so excited to have found this website! Its great to see that there are so many other people who adore their furry little children as much as we all do. Now when I saw we I mean, me, my boyfriend Josh, my mother Lori, my father Tim, and my brothers Nick and Lane. We are puppy people!

My parents have 7 Pomeranians: Rusty, Julia, Nate, Lena, Sweetie, Possum, and Buttercup. 3 Great Danes: Kal-el, Sierra, and Cap. They also have a mut who happened to hit the "puppy lotto" when he found his way into our yard named Bad Thing. Sierra the Great Dane was living with some people in a car when a man who knows how much we love animals brought her to us. She now has her own, very large house, which is actually one of those wooden buildings that you can buy from Home Depot, complete with A/C and a couch. We like to decorate it for Christmas. Its very cute.

Now, me and my boyfriend wanted a puppy a couple years ago. We debated about which kind. It had to be small since it was living at his house. It had to be "bad" which is a requirement of mine... I love bad little dogs with tons of personality. How we ended up choosing a Corgi I dont actually remember... I do remember spending days upon days looking for one in Louisiana. It was the most exciting day ever when my parents, my boyfriend and I drove to Amite to pick up our first short legged menace. When Josh saw Jack, I knew thats who we would be taking home.

Remy had originally been called "Tiny Tim" and was from Rusty and Julia's second litter. Remy picked Josh. He charged the gate every time Josh entered the room wanting to be held. Jack would sit at the gate and sniff at Remy and try to play with him. Remy was absolutely ours.

Well, for me, one Corgi was not enough. Jack was a bit too big to play with the Poms and much too small to play with the Danes. He needed a friend. So after much begging and pleading my parents decided to get me a little girl. Of course, they decided to do this while I was in Florida. They had her for two days before we got home and I had no idea. I went into my bathroom and there she was. Exactly what I wanted.

Well... Thats the puppy situation at my house. My little puppy family is complete and they are just excellent!

Haha wow that is one big pack! Do they all get along or do they form little alliances? I just have this image in my head of the two corgis herding up all the poms haha...

I only have one for now but if I ever get a back yard I'm sure I would get more.

Oh wow!! that's a lot of dogs!! Well we live in a townhouse which only permits 2 pets, so we have 2 corgis....when we get a single home with a backyard, we'll definitely consider getting another one or two...we'll see. These two are already wreaking havoc around the house...but they are such a bundle of joy..

we're so happy for you!!
