Omg I'm soooo excited!! We are getting a new pup! I can't wait! Now this is super big for us because we have been pratically homeless for a while now (living with very generous family) due to my husband being disabled and fighting with social security we lost everything car, house and no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't keep our heads above water with only my income. Well he finally got his social security but then we couldn't find a house because with losing everything our credit took a major nose dive. We were to the point where we thought we would have to find Chesney a new home just so that we could have a better chance of finding a place (so many places around here won't accept pets) and she almost did go live with a friend of mine but luckily my friend just couldn't take on another dog at this time! I say luckily because I recently recieved a call from my mom that my childhood home was mine if I wanted it! Which means I can keep Chesney!! And as a house warming gift my wonderful husband got me a new puppy!!! His name is Chase and he was born in April! I'm soooo excited! Things have finally started to look up! I feel so completely blessed right now!!

I just came across this, I came to your page to see if you had made the cupcakes last year for Chesney's birthday. WOW you have had such a time, but seems all going better, I am so happy for you! It does take the disability forever to kick in!!!! I did not have to appeal, but it seemed soooo long when we knew I qualified and we needed that check...I am glad that your husband has finally gotten his, AND now the house and the new pup. He is sooo cute. Good luck with everything!

I'm glad things are looking up for you. Your situation brought to mind an quote by author Louis Sabin: "No Matter how little money and how few possessions you own, having a dog makes you rich."
