PetSmart recalls Great Choice dog biscuits

Effective January 20, 2009, PetSmart® is conducting a voluntary recall of seven of our Grreat Choice dog biscuits (peanut butter and assorted flavors). They initiated the recall after determining these products sold between August 21, 2008 and January 19, 2009 contain peanut butter product linked to the salmonella recall announced by the FDA. • Small assorted biscuits, 32 oz., with a UPC code of 73725702900

• Small/medium assorted biscuits, 4 lb., with a UPC code of 73725700601

• Small/medium assorted biscuits, 8 lb., with a UPC code of 73725700605

• Small/medium assorted biscuits, 10 lb., with a UPC code of 73725702755

• Large assorted biscuits, 8 lb., with a UPC code of 73725700638

• Extra large assorted biscuits, 8 lb., with a UPC code 73725700779

• Peanut Butter biscuits, 4 lb., with a UPC code of 73725700766

You are right it is a precaution, but better to weigh in on the side of caution....than to ignore a warning. There has been 'too' many warnings about peanut butter to not take this recall seriously.

Owen has not been sick but we are taking them to the store. Scary. I feel like a bad mom. On the plus before all of this, I made him some homemade doggy treats which should smooth over tonight's bedtime routine
