can anyone recommend a playpen for my puppy to use. I was thinking of something like this but not sure if it's durable enough.

You are welcome.. I love it.. Its kid proof and puppy proof.. lol  ;)  I know petsmart has them but I think Baby and Toys R us might be cheaper.. Or go on Craigslist too.. In the baby stuff.. ;)

Hello I have a playpen for my pup.. He has been the second on I have used it for.. I got it at babys R Us.. lol I used it for my kids when they were little.. Its hard plastic and its great you can just spray it off with water it it gets bad.. I have a pic of it with him in it.. I think you seen it with him in it and his sis next to him..

Neither of mine have ever attempted to jump over it, I doubt they could with their stubby little legs lol. The one Natalie linked you can take out two of the sections and make it just four panels in a square if you need to for space issues. There's still enough room for a big bed and a water bowl, toys etc. Ideally you wouldn't need to pen her as adult.

wouldn't she be able to jump over the playpen as an adult

thanks all for the great advice. what about when my dog is no longer a puppy? I live in an apartment so space is an issue I would prefer to put in some kind of pen instead of a crate if i can when I am off to work

I used the plastic style already mentioned.  Twinkie was in it for almost a year!  She never tried to get out of it and I have held onto it for when a new puppy comes.  Since it was up for so long, I think that this time I will paint it designer black so it matches the kitchen better!  Good luck!

we had Mia in one of the hard plastic baby ones.  it even had a panel with baby toys that she played with. we already had it from the grandsons and I think it worked better for mia than it did for them! pretty sure she would have chewed thru a mesh one in about a minute flat!

This is over at my son's house when they still had herky.
