Preparing!

Only another 3 weeks to go! I just went to Petsmart and got all the stuff I think I will need initially. Plus a few things I won't need for a while :) but it's because I'm so excited! I even went online and planned out some rest stops from the breeder's house to our house, and made up a mini schedule for our puppy's meals and potty times. Actually I think I'm preparing like crazy because while I'm excited, I'm also a little nervous. Not only is this the first dog I'm adopting as an adult, but it's a puppy! That means patience, wisdom, and problem solving are going to be really important! Granted, I was raised with dogs and I love them, but it's very different when you're a child and ultimately the problem solving is up to the adults. At least we are getting her while I'm on summer break, if I had a year-round job I don't know if I'd be okay getting a puppy. So I guess it will be good having the first few months to get settled and enjoy :).
Oh and I think we have decided on a name finally! Spunky :)
