I have decided to name my sweet little girl Lyla!!

I was talking to a friend this evening and "polling" her on what name she liked. She said she didn't like Lyla because it reminded her of Delilah which reminded her of the song by the Plain White T's that she hates. Well, her explanation backfired because I love that song!

All of my pets are named after something I like. I have a cat named after my favorite TV character and a dog named after a character one of my favorite actors played. I wanted to find this pup a musical name somehow, since I love music, but couldn't think of one. My friend unknowingly supplied with with the name from a song, so Lyla it shall be!

Her name will actually be Delilah, but I'm just going to call her Lyla for simplicity. Knowing me and nicknames, even Lyla will probably be shortened to "Ly." I have emailed the breeder, and she is going to start calling her Lyla, so it's permanent now. Yay!
