After much thought, we (my bf and I) decided to get another puppy. This time we are going to get a tan/white welsh corgi. We've been socializing Yoshi and it seems that it has calmed her down a lot more. She seems much more mature and not as aggressive. We have taken her to our meet my family dogs and my bf's family dogs. At first I was really worried, but after the first 5 minutes of fighting, she calmed down and became close friends with all of the dogs that she met. Our friends came by with their puppies for a small new years party and she was socializing great! Which is the reason we decided to get another corgi. That way when we are both at work, she has a companion. They will be almost one year apart but nonetheless, they will have each other. We will have our puppy around the end of February. I can't wait!! Pictures will definitely be posted.

Thanks all for your support! We are choosing the puppy next week from a small batch. It was a bit difficult to find anyone who lived around the area that were offering pembroke corgis. At this point, my bf and i are just excited to get another one. They're so much fun to have around.

Congratulations! We're planning on adding an addition later this year.l Gracie will be a year in March. We wanted to do it before Gracie got too old to accept another dog. We may be crazy dong do soon! We just love the PWC! We would love to get a tri, male and would even love to get another fluffy. But, we are open to meeting the puppies. We've already put out feelers to get on list. Good luck with the addition!

I'm unclear -- you've already picked the puppy? Unless you've already found the pup I'd question the insistence on a certain color or timing. Personality more important, and if you're set on one color or a deadline, that could make you overlook the right pup. But it sounds like you've already found one?
Al & Gwynn are about 3 years apart. I think the decision to get a partner for Gwynnie was a big success. Her life is more interesting, and they do play together.
I've heard that if a dog is solitary for many years, it may be reluctant to accept a new puppy, but that's not your situation. I don't know what the spacing issues are, but there may be such a thing as "too soon" and "too late". I've heard it's a good idea to introduce two dogs on neutral territory, but with a puppy it may be different. You might ask some of the experienced breeders about how to introduce a puppy. Our breeder personally brought Al to our house and spent over an hour observing him to make sure he seemed OK. I don't know what she was watching for.
