Loki attracts cats. Cats LOVE him. When we go for walks, neighborhood cats run out from under cars and behind trees to greet him and rub against him. He is rather indifferent to these "stranger" cats; not hostile and not welcoming. When we go to the pet stores that sell animals or have adoption days, the kittens and cats try to get to him through their cages or want to play with him through the glass... It is REALLY strange.

We have a rather large Bengal mix cat (Milton) at home that Loki loves- they are buddies and often rival for attention and treats. Sometimes Loki acts like Milton is the alpha allowing Milton to eat first and be the first to be pet etc.

Is this weird cat behavior a response that other Corgi's experience? Has anyone else seen this sort of weird cat attraction?

Or is Loki an incarnate of the cat whisperer... I'm trying to figure out how we can use his powers for the greater good...
