Snap Pea Shells

Hey Everyone. At work we usually have raw vegie treats every day, it's the season for snap peas. We've been givin Archie the long shells that the peas are in. Then I thought about it, are they OK for him, and does someone have a list or a link for things we shouldn't feed them. Chocolate is obvious, but aside from that? THANKS KRISTIN

Comment by anne lewis on July 11, 2010 at 4:20pm: Here's the short list: onions, garlic, grapes, raisins, chocolate. Those are the "evil five" according to our vet. If anyone's having trouble with their corgi having loose stools--and worried about giardia, food allergies, etc.: Try getting rid of rawhides first. As soon as I eliminated those, Seamus never had a problem again. He satisfies his chewing urge with Kongs and those new-fangled rubbery bones (with a little peanut butter on top!)
