I can't believe that Stanley has been here for a month already!  The dynamics between Stanley and Stella have definitely changed in the past week.  She was grumbly with him and cautious for the first couple of weeks.  She also was looking for Annie, her husky sister she grew up with, who had to be put to sleep only days after Stan arrived.  In this last week, though, Stella has been initiating play with Stanley, and they even share toys now.  She chases him around the house and loves to herd him inside when they come in from the back yard!  I have been taking them for long walks together 2-3 times a day, and I think that has definitely helped.  I'm still feeding them separately, and that probably is best.  Neither of them leaves any food for the other to steal, anyway!  

I wanted to thank everyone who gave me great advice and encouragement when I posted about possibly getting Stanley!  I greatly appreciate it!
