teething

My puppy Zeus is 5 months and 1 week old today he was playing with his toys I noticed blood on them so I looked in his mouth and he lost his first tooth :) I looked around for it and found it on the carpet. Is there anything special I should do for his mouth as it is still bleeding. Poor baby :( just curiuos as this is my first puppy and did I mention I kept the tooth for his doggie album lol after all he is my baby :)

It should stop bleeding all on its own, but if you'd like you could give him a frozen cloth to chew on. Just wet a rag (old washcloth, dishcloth, etc.), wring it out and pop it into the freezer. He can chew on it (supervised) all he wants and it'll help to soothe his mouth and stop the bleeding.
